DESIGN FOR SPORT, SAFETY AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

“Design for sport, safety and social development” is an initiative of The Spirit of Poland foundation, which aims to promote new products and services in the field of design and development of innovative products.

Polish creators – Dorota Kabała, Monika Braunstch from KAFTI, We design for physical culture’s team and Justyna Kabała – present how design can support the development of  such disciplines as sport or work safety, as well as social development.

By solving the problems of specific groups or communities we aim to provide a new quality. We focus on innovation understood as sustainable development, accessibility and universality. The examples of such projects are the myhand or Peconheiros, that I worked on together with We design for physical culture studio, “says Dorota Kabała.

The project “Design for sport, safety  and social development” features business meetings, presentations  at the boot Dusseldorf trade fair, participation in the ISPO trade fair – Munich, as well as online activities with the aim of establishing the partnerships key for the new products implementations. The initiative also focuses on international networking of designers through the meetings.
