ĆMIELÓW DESIGN STUDIO

Ćmielów Design Studio is a creative ceramic studio, launched in January 2013 by Polish Porcelain Factories “Ćmielów” and “Chodzież”. Led by Marek Cecuła, renowned artist and designer, the studio offers an alternative viewpoint on domestic products, reinventing the landscape of the table through new tableware concepts.
At the imm cologne we present three sets from Ćmielów Design Studio’s recent collections. Cubus II comes from the “Geometry” collection. It consists of several porcelain sets connected by the common idea of playing with forms and colours. Simple, non-symmetric forms are something unconventional in industrial porcelain; they recall architecture objects and refer to Constructivism and geometric abstract art.
ZZ is a set of four containers in irregular forms. They have been spiced up with a pinch of knowledge about the most popular condiments – salt and pepper, and liquids used everyday in our kitchens – olive and vinegar.
PETIT is a set of a small milk jug and sugar bowl. Designed to make more enjoyable a small coffee taken alone or with a friend. Fitting easily in your hand, the set will please the eye with simple yet refined form.
